While Larry was more of a scotch drinker, he did love the occasional beer. Mainly, he just enjoyed having a drink at the end of the day with family and friends gathered round. So we’ll toast Larry with a scotch at the end of the evening of our Derby Dinner – but you can also give a toast with a Derby Ale!
The Hoots LVH Derby Ale is a beer specially brewed in honor of Larry by local brewer, the Hoots Beer Company. The Hoots folks describe it as a Summer Golden Ale, 4%, ABV. It’s crisp and refreshing with a slight citrus flavor – perfect for drinking and celebrating the Kentucky Derby.
When will it be available?
It’s been brewed in honor of the 2015 LVH ALS Derby Dinner and Golf Tournament. Folks sampled it at the Derby Dinner and during golf and loved it…and it’s available NOW at many local bars and restaurants!
Where can I get it?
These great establishments are not only offering our beer on tap, but many have already donated to our cause and participated in our Derby Race with their own teams!
