2019 Benefit Concert Recap

2019 Benefit Concert Raised $350,000

The LVH ALS asssociation started it’s first fundraising campaign to support the Duke ALS Research Clinic in 2014 and over the years we’ve had a variety of formal dinners and golf events. This year was our first ever Benefit Concert for ALS Research and it was everything we could hope it would be and so much more!!! Most importantly, it was another successful and fun gathering, which would have been an impossible undertaking without all of the hard work, dedication and never ending support from so many special individuals!

THANK YOU cannot begin to express our gratitude to Taylor Hicks and Mark Wills who put on a fantastic show!!! And of course, there are no words to express how much we appreciate all of our volunteers, donors, participants and sponsors! Your time, efforts, funds, love and endless support are appreciated beyond words. Not only are all of these contributions a gift in honoring Larry’s memory and his passion for a cure, they also allow us to make another substantial effort to eradicate ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis/Lou Gehrig’s Disease).

We are truly grateful and thankful for each and every one of you.

THANK YOU!!

Sincerely,

LVH ALS Foundation

Special Thanks to Brittany Butterworth for photographing the events!

The LVH ALS Research Endowment is a seed, full of exciting potential.  It has been sown onto the fertile ground of the Duke ALS Clinic, one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive ALS care centers.  Nurtured by our passion, commitment and unique focus on alternative therapies and ALS reversals, I believe this will grow, eventually leading us to an amazing Duke ALS Center that helps us climb to a cure for this disease.

Larry would always say that ALS was a ‘blessing’. Can’t say that I necessarily agreed with him but, I will say that SO many blessings have come out of it and continue to keep coming after his passing.  This foundation is our way of paying it forward and hopefully one day eradicating ALS.
